The Week of Great Love

There's too much tragedy in the air right now. The windy, damp, and unseasonably cold weather adds to the feeling of dread. I am determined to bust that feeling.

Tomorrow begins my Week of Great Love.

What is Great Love? It is that extra special, extra intense, once-in-a-lifetime kind of love. When you connect with someone on a level that makes you feel like you've known them all of your life. And maybe even before. When someone establishes such a place in your heart, that you can't imagine what life would be like without them. They are your best friend, a partner to join you in new adventures, a lover that you trust completely. Someone that will be in your heart for your entire life, no matter what.

I've been lucky. I've had three Great Loves in my life.

Here's the amazing part (at least it's amazing to me). My three Great Loves have birthdays in the same week. Yes, you guessed it- this coming week. The chronological order of their birthdays match their chronological appearance in my life. For those of you wondering about the astrology: one is an Aries, two are Tauruses. Very different men. Very different loves. But all wonderful.

How lucky am I?
