Seeking the Blue
I was longing for blue- clear blue sky, inviting blue ocean. Southern California truly delivered.
In my life-long quest to pursue and develop true connections with others, this trip provided the unique opportunity to renew, strengthen, establish connections in various contexts.
On the business front, I met some new people that could possibly lead to additional business opportunity. And I renewed a contact in the hopes of getting new work. My professional confidence was strengthened as I felt that the people I met with truly gained value from meeting with me (so it wasn't simply one-sided).
On the personal front, I was able to take additional steps to establish what I think will be a quality, soul-connecting friendship with a woman I have been casual friends with for a couple years. I was able to renew contact with two women I met on my Costa Rica vacation. And I was able to have real, quality, heart-to-heart bonding time with one of my most cherished loved ones.
**Deep Exhale Breath**
As a single woman living (and working) alone, there are times when I spend a lot of time by myself. I'm generally not lonely, I have a very active social life, and my business keeps me interacting with people pretty consistently. But sometimes, when I spend several days in a row connecting with people on a true level- it just feels so satisfying. Like a wonderful meal of comfort food when you are really hungry.
Wow.
It's really quiet in my house right now.

Blue skies sound wonderful. I'm glad for an unseasonably warm day today but it's not quite like seeing (and hearing) the ocean and reconnecting with friends. I'm glad to read that you had a good trip!

dc is having very cali-like weather today.
It's people who make this world an interesting place in which to live. I'm so glad you were able to savor the company of those who mean so much to you!
