It's deja vu all over again

The movie with Denzel? Implausible yet entertaining. Real life actual deja vu? A bit disconcerting...

Last week, I wrote a blog post about dreams. One of the dreams featured apartments in New York City. The one I referred to with "multiple levels and an elevator"...it also had a back staircase leading to the lobby.

Yesterday I checked into my hotel in Manhattan. My room is tucked away in the back on the 2nd floor. And right next to my door (where it seems out of place) is a staircase extremely similar to the one I dreamt about. It even has marble steps and iron rails. It made me nervous because in my dream the elevator/staircase access had me concerned about safety.
