I finally went to see Dreamgirls.

Amazing.

I could barely sit still in my seat. I had to hold on tight to the armrests to keep from jumping to my feet.

Powerful voices like that hit me in the solar plexus. Jennifer and Beyonce's voices can't be explained, they must be experienced.

The audience in the movie theater actually applauded at the end. And applauded again when Jennifer Hudson's name appeared in the credits.
