I've tried that. It's not working.
Sorry to hear that Kristin :( I think something like that works only when you are ready for it to work. (And the "someone new" has to be pretty amazing!:) If you're not ready for it...ugh! you could be heading for an embarrassing mid-coital sob session!!
It only works when you are no longer thinking about your lost love as you embrace this new person. Sometimes it's hard to shed those memories.
